- If a horse shall feel playful he must feel safe, and as he is a flight animal for this he must trust his nimble legs. We improve his self-confidence by teaching him sure feet!

- Damit ein Pferd sich sicher fühlen kann, muß es, da es ein Fluchttier ist, seinen flinken Füßen trauen können. Wir helfen ihm Sebstsicherheit zu gewinnen, indem wir ihm Trittsicherheit beibringen!

- Whereas it is quite easy to convince your partner to tackle difficult situations with his forelegs (once he has gained confidence in your leadership) the hindquarters can be a different story! Only after much practice does he know how to follow the touching aids precisely and so avoid stepping onto the tyres, aiming for the gaps only.

- Wenn das Pferd seinem Anführer vertraut, ist es nicht schwer ihn zu überzeugen, sich mit den Vorderhufen in komplizierte Situationen führen zu lassen, aber die Hinterbeine sind eine andere Geschichte! Nur mit viel Übung lernt er auf Touchierhilfen in die Lücken zu zielen, anstatt auf die Reifen zu treten.

- On the round pole he learns to set his hooves in front of each other – again a different kind of balance is required!

- Auf dem Rundbalken muß er die Vorderhufe voreinander setzen – das ist wieder eine neue Art des Balancierens!

- Walking over high bridges is an excellent game to prepare you for all tricky situations, which you might encounter while hacking out. This too my horses perform at liberty, fully confident!

ist ein prima Spiel um sich auf vertrackte Situationen im Gelände vorzubereiten. Auch das machen meine Pferde in “Freiheit”, mit vollem
Vertrauen, und nur an der Mähne geleitet .

- And when the ground starts to tilt they develop control over their gravity point to perfection. My horses teeter together – they just shift their weight, as there is no room for steps on here!

- Und wenn der Boden dann auch noch kippt lernen sie ihren Schwerpunkt bis zur Perfektion zu beherrschen. Meine Pferde wippen auch gemeinsam – hier können sie nur ihr Gewicht verlagern, da für Schritte kein Platz ist!
