Führ- und Laufspiele – Teil 2
|
- In our training series we begin with leading exercises. Rule number One is to never PULL on a rope – the horse will only counter-pull! As a matter of fact a rope is not even needed, as the horse takes his cues from your body language and your position relative to him. Chels and Beau here are playing – they are in “partner position”!

- In unserer Trainingsserie fangen wir mit Führspielen an. Regel Nummer Eins ist niemals am Strick zu ZIEHEN – das Pferd zieht bloß dagegen! Man braucht auch eigentlich gar kein Seil, denn das Pferd schaut ja auf die Körpersprache des Menschen und dessen Position relativ zu sich. Chels und Beau spielen hier – sie sind in “Partner Position”!

- In games like the “bucket slalom” your horse can learn peppy starts and sliding stops – all on the slack rope!

- In Spielen wie der “Eimer Slalom” lernt das Pferd zackige Starts und Sliding Stopps – alles am durchhängenden Seil!

- In our leading games we use the rope not only on the halter, but also around the legs. A fine tug and instant release teaches the horse to accept this as an aid – he does not feel tied!
- After teaching your horse to react to very gentle rope aids, you may progress to more ambitious leading games!

- Bei unseren Führspielen nutzen wir das Seil nicht nur am Halfter, sondern auch um die Beine. Ein leichtes Zupfen und sofortiges Nachgeben läßt das Pferd dies als Hilfe empfinden – es fühlt sich nicht gefesselt!
- Nachdem das Pferd gelernt hat auf ganz feine Seilhilfen zu reagieren, kann man ehrgeizigere Führspiele versuchen!

- Though a horse does not really “copy” his human, it is a sign of friendship to synchronize with your partner. Therefore we play Games-in-Sync often.
- This “Dancing the Twostep” is not as easy as it looks! We sway right and left together, hindlegs parked, while crossing the front alternately.

- Obwohl Pferde ihre Menschen nicht wirklich “nachahmen”, ist es ein Zeichen der Freundschaft sich mit seinem Partner zu synchronisieren. Daher bieten wir oft solche Spiele an.
- Dieser “Stehblues” ist gar nicht so einfach! Wir wiegen zusammen nach rechts und links, mit geparkten Hinterbeinen, während die vorderen abwechselnd kreuzen.
