Schicken und Rufen – Teil 13
|
- Although Send & Call Games are also first practiced on a rope, they are meant to be played at liberty once the trainer’s body language is clear enough to be understood by the horse.
- These games are a lot of fun for both humans and horses! In the book “From Leading to Liberty” we show you step by step how to get there – and a whole gamut of suggested games will get you going!

- Obwohl auch Schick & Rückruf Spiele erst am Seil erklärt werden, sollen sie “frei” gespielt werden, sobald die Körpersprache des Trainers klar genug ist, daß das Pferd sie verstehen kann.
- Diese Spiele machen Menschen und Pferden gleich Spaß! Im Buch “From Leading to Liberty” zeigen wir Schritt für Schritt wie man dahin kommt – und eine ganze Reihe von Spielen als Anreiz!

- Onlookers will always admire you, when you can send your partner around four barrels in a cloverleaf figure – though for the horse this game is not difficult at all. Mine all learned it in less than 20 minutes – the only problem is that the humans can’t memorize the pattern!
- Sending your trusting partner is easy, but perhaps he will chose not to come back?
- Responding reliably to your calling him back requires higher motivation – especially over obstacles!

- Zuschauer werden Sie immer bewundern, wenn Sie Ihr Pferd im Kleeblattmuster um vier Tonnen schicken können – obwohl dieses Spiel für Pferde gar nicht schwierig ist. Meine haben es alle in weniger als 20 Minuten gelernt. Das größte Problem scheint zu sein, den Menschen das Muster beizubringen!
- Schicken ist einfach, aber vielleicht kommt Ihr Spielkamerad nicht mehr zurück?
- Verläßlich herkommen, wenn man gerufen wird, verlangt höhere Motivation – vor allem über Hindernisse!

- In our Grand Slam Game Beau goes over the jump as long as we want, being sent over like a tennis ball over the net – wide open field again! That’s motivation !!

- Im Grand Slam Spiel hüpft Beau wie ein Tennisball über das Netz solange wir wollen – wieder im offenen Feld. Das ist Motivation!

- In the “Loom” we are “weaving” the horses one by one through their parked partners. You call the first one toward you, direct him to turn, then send him “through”, and call him again to come back into line at the other side.

- Beim “Weben” schicken wir die Pferde einzeln zwischen den geparkten Partnern hindurch. Man ruft das Erste zu sich, verlangt eine Wendung, schickt ihn “durch”, und ruft ihn auf der anderen Seite wieder auf die Linie – “der Nächste bitte! “

- Sending him through a row of cones from the back, where he can barely see you, works more on voice commands than body language. Not all horses respond equally well to words!

- Von hinten durch eine Reihe Hütchen schicken, wo das Pferd uns ja kaum sehen kann, funktioniert eher auf Stimmhilfen als Körpersprache. Nicht alle Pferde reagieren gleich gut auf Wortkommandos!
